Ernie is passionate about wine and shortly after he decided to start producing wines, he located and acquired the perfect site within the “golden triangle” of Stellenbosch for producing premium wines. Ernie also appointed brilliant and experienced head winemaker, Louis Strydom, who has produced every single vintage of Ernie Els Wines since the maiden 2000 vintage
